Dr Ian Frost 

I am a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine at the West Suffolk Hospital. I have over 20 years’  anaesthetics experience working across a broad range of surgical specialties, with elective orthopaedic work being the primary focus of my anaesthetic practice within both the NHS and private sector.

My primary objective is to provide you with a safe procedure in a calm and relaxed environment. I look forward to meeting you and discussing the available anaesthetic options.

About me

Originally from Walton-on-the-Naze and schooled at the Colchester Royal Grammar School, I went on to train at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London. I subsequently worked as a medical doctor before specialising and training in anaesthetics and intensive care medicine here in East Anglia. Away from work I enjoy gardening, cycling, fishing and days beside the sea at our family beach hut in Walton-on-the-Naze.
